BA,BB and EO there role in brewing!

BA,BB,and EO and there role in brewing.
Incase your new to brewing your own gear and wanted to know what BA,BB,and. EO are used for

What is Benzyl- Benzoate and what Benzyl Benzoate does do?

Benzyl- Benzoate is a solvent. This means solutes such as Hormone Powders dissolve easily in it, and that is the main purpose of its use in Steroids. The Benzyl-Benzoate is used to dissolve and suspend the Hormone Powder. If the correct amount of this solvent is not used the Hormone powder will ‘undissolve’ from the solution causing the Steroids to ‘Crash’ (get cloudy/less effective).

Some Hormone Powder dissolve more easily than others and therefore less Benzyl Benzoate is required. The fact that varying amount of the solvent are required for the Hormone Powders is why having this page as a resource is so vital.

What is Benzyl-Alcohol and what does Benzyl Alcohol do?

Benzyl-Alcohol is just a form of alcohol. Its use in Steroids is to preserve the suspension for months, even years, without any reduction in sterility. Alcohol is an anti-bacterial disinfectant and is used as such in many industries. As aforementioned Benzyl-Alcohol ensures the Steroid maintains its sterility when used in the right concentration, however, if too much is used the Steroid will be painful to inject and will cause post injection soreness.
What is Ethyl Oleate and what does Ethyl Oleate do?

Ethyl oleate is a fatty acid ester formed by the condensation of oleic acid and ethanol.
It is a colorless to light yellow liquid. Ethyl oleate is produced by the body during
ethanol intoxication. Ethyl oleate is used as a solvent for pharmaceutical drug
preparations involving lipophilic substances such as steroids.
Ethyl Oleate is a carrier. It is great for short esters like Acetate, Propionate and
Phenylpropionate for increasing concentrations of these esters without crashing.
Many people feel that Ethyl Oleate creates painless injections while others don’t feel the
same. I only would suggest Ethyl Oleate for short esters for reducing pain and increasing
concentration.
You can use a 50/50 concentration of Ethyl Oleate and oil such as Cottonseed or Grapeseed to increase concentration of NPP to 200mg/ml without crashing
Some people feel that isn’t all that it is cracked up to be as many long ester formula’s
seem to crash. Also the other con is the cost of Ethyl Oleate

I just brewed some bold cyp from one of the sponsers and used 25% bb and it held very nicely in mct. I pin tomorrow I hope it doesnt fuck with me too much. Was that a lot? First time brewing

EO is not ideal as most people’s bodies have an inflammatory response to it and can likely increase pain. I think MCT oil is the way to go or a carrier oil that you know your body fairs well with. There are recipes involving no heat for some compounds. The tradeoff is that it takes more time. The idea is energy conversion not just thermal energy. Mechanical energy can work well as a means to increase molecular vibrations. Having a magnetic stir is key and essential to lower oxidation by not having to require as much heat. The more of one type of energy involved the less of another will be needed to mix compounds. You want as little chemicals/solvents as possible while having a stable compound. The longer the shelf life you require it to have the more BA you will use. Remember the liquid starts to lose sterility once interacting with the atmosphere. This process is not always done in a controlled environment.

I have redness at the the site, a little swollen, and I feel like shit. I dont want to trash my gear though. Recomendations? Refilter maybe?

Interesting research done on the effects of EO on Myocardial cell damage.

I personally stopped using in years ago and insist none of the products in my possession contain it.

If you use or have been using EO I advise to get a High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein test. Less than 1 is good. 0.5 is great. Anything above 1 and you are putting yourself at unncessary risk. The higher the score the higher the rish of a cardiovascular event.

That’s very interesting to me actually. I ran primo in 100% EO and I had alot of people saying that EO is really bad for you. I never saw an actual medical write up on it and what it is actually effecting.
Solid post

There could be a lot of variables at play here even just something as simple as bad technique or hygiene. Do you get that every time you try it? Id say re-filtering and making sure to use a 22 micron and transferring in a clean atmosphere is always the safest bet. Do everything in a clean place with clean air around you.

Right there with you @British_Anabolics my body hates the stuff. Always causes unneeded inflammation with me and pain. I feel like crap afterwards.

After the melting/mixing, drew up in a sterile syringe and used .22 syringe filter into sterile vials

I should have also noted this. Let the solution mix for awhile to ensure that everything is nice and even while holding the melting point. This helps prevent crashing. Tons of crazy swirls is a sign that it is not done yet.

Yes definetly had everything hold well. I allowed to cool to room temperature even before I added the oil in case I had to heat it again. I know oil has good heat tolerance but I was just being careful. I did add a little heat to make sure oil blended well though
